Description from the seller
ACQUANAUTA
Part of a series of underwater oil-painted mermaids.
Work created in 2006 and retouched in 2025 that explores the beauty of the female figure in the embrace of the sea and captures the ethereal quality of water by distorting and transforming the figure.
The blue and turquoise tones evoke the tranquility of the underwater world, inviting the viewer to dive into its depths. The woman suspended in the water, merges with nature. This work celebrates the harmony between the human body and the aquatic world.
Signed on the back, professionally packaged for shipment.
I am interested in the boundary between the real world and the surreal world of my ever-transforming aquatic landscapes.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stays in New York to study graphic design and then in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion and above all a vital necessity.
I have had solo and collective exhibitions in various European cities and my works are in different private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions, my standout theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share a symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as the through line of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
