Herend – Empire Bell Vase "Apponyi Purpur" with Lion-Paw Feet – Porcelain – Hungary
Refined and rare porcelain vase finely hand-painted, made by the famous Hungarian manufactory Herend. The piece is distinguished by its elegant neoclassical-inspired bell shape (Empire style), supported by four evocative lion-paw feet entirely gilded, resting on a solid square base. The vase is decorated with the iconic “Apponyi Purpur” motif (also known as Chinese Bouquet Purple), characterized by a large central stylized flower in purple/raspberry surrounded by leaves, with secondary branches scattered. The upper rims, decorative bands and the details of the feet are finely finished in 24-carat gold leaf.
