A splendid and rare object for the connoisseur of antique glassware. This elegant vase, made in France, combines the refinement of opaline glass with the fascinating mystery of uranium glass (also known as Ouraline). Under normal daylight the vase has a soft, milky appearance typical of French opaline glass. However, when the object is exposed to UV light (blacklight), the vase lights up spectacularly with the characteristic, intensely bright neon-green fluorescence. Dimensions: height 16 cm, width 9 cm. Weight: 200 g. The vase has a copper rim at the top. Everything is in nice condition. Everything will be well packaged.

Een schitterend en zeldzaam object voor de fijnproever van antiek glaswerk. Deze elegante vaas, vervaardigd in Frankrijk, combineert de verfijning van opalineglas met het fascinerende mysterie van uraniumglas (ook wel bekend als Ouraline).
​Onder normaal daglicht heeft de vaas een zachte, melkachtige uitstraling die typerend is voor Frans opalineglas. Zodra het object echter wordt blootgesteld aan uv-licht (blacklight), licht de vaas spectaculair op met de karakteristieke, intens felle neongroene fluorescentie.
De afmetingen hoogte 16 cm, breedte 9 cm. Gewicht 200 gr. Vaasje heeft boven een koperen rand. Alles in mooie staat.
