Opaline jardinière with floral decoration, mounted in gilded brass.

Globular-shaped jardinière in white opaline, adorned with a painted and polychrome enamelled design of flowers, foliage and branches, enhanced with gilding.

It features a substantial gilded-brass mount, including a pierced gallery, two side handles with geometric decoration surmounted by fantastical heads, and three foliate feet.

Napoleon III style workmanship, late 19th century.

Dimensions: approximately 20 × 20 cm.

Condition: wear and oxidation of the mount, rubbing and losses to the gilding, small stains inside.

Jardinière en opaline à décor floral, monture en laiton doré

Jardinière de forme globulaire en opaline blanche, ornée d’un décor peint et émaillé polychrome de fleurs, feuillages et branchages, rehaussé de dorure.

Elle présente une importante monture en laiton doré comprenant une galerie ajourée, deux anses latérales à décor géométrique surmontées de têtes fantastiques et trois pieds feuillagés.

Travail de style Napoléon III, fin du XIXe siècle.

Dimensions : 20 × 20 cm environ.

État : usures et oxydation de la monture, frottements et pertes à la dorure, petites taches à l’intérieur.
