Artist's statement:

I've always believed that our deepest fears often mirror the parts of ourselves we refuse to embrace. The snake has carried centuries of symbolism—danger, knowledge, transformation—but I wanted it to become something quieter. Here, it is neither threat nor ornament; it is a companion, a silent witness to the body's unguarded state. Nudity is not presented as exposure, but as honesty. When we stop resisting what we instinctively fear, we begin to discover a different kind of strength—one that asks for no spectacle, only acceptance.

About the artist:

I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
