MUMA - Cinético 05 (XL)

"Kinetic" is a series that explores the illusion of movement through geometry, color, and the relationship between shapes. Inspired by the legacy of kinetic art and the geometric abstraction of the 20th century, the work does not rely on physical movement, but rather activates the viewer's perception through visual tensions, compositional rhythms, and carefully balanced chromatic contrasts. In this dialogue between stability and dynamism, the investigations of artists such as Victor Vasarely, Carlos Cruz-Diez, and Jesús Rafael Soto resonate, who transformed the visual experience into an active and participatory phenomenon.

Beyond the historical reference, Kinetic raises a reflection on the nature of perception. Each composition recalls that movement does not always belong to the object, but also to the eye that interprets it. The apparent immobility of the canvas becomes a space of constant transformation, where light, the observer's position, and time modify the aesthetic experience. Thus, geometry ceases to be a rigid system and becomes a living language, capable of suggesting depth, expansion, and vibration from the most essential elements.

The series proposes a balance between precision and emotion, between constructive rigor and artistic intuition. Its pared‑down forms seek to transcend representation to invite a slow contemplation, where order, harmony, and color generate an open and intimate visual experience. About MUMA:

MUMA is an artistic duo formed by a 3D Generalist and Designer and an Art Historian, both trained at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Their artistic practice centers on the plastic arts, with particular interest in color, movement, and the dynamism of forms, as well as variations in the environment. Their work is conceived to integrate into space and establish a direct dialogue with daily routine and human experience, exploring a vital vision linked to the ideals of impressionism, such as the relationship with nature, color, and changing environments.

About preparation, packaging, and shipping of the artwork:

The work is hand-signed by the artistic duo and includes a certificate of authenticity also signed by them. The canvas, rolled, is carefully packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube and will be shipped within three business days after purchase confirmation. The estimated delivery time will depend on the destination and the chosen shipping company.
