Description from the seller

A thick fog, an improvised diving board, a determined attitude, and New York. Some will see in this work the color contrast between this woman and the setting, others the anachronism of the place and the situation, others still the allegory. Why is this woman about to jump, what does she represent? Positioned on this powerful eagle, symbol of the United States, in this fog that hints at the world's complexity, she is about to take the plunge. What are her motivations, her determination, her goals… she is ready to plunge into all her fragility and innocence.

GEIDA is a French artist from the south of France, born in 1982, on the shores of the Côte d’Azur.

Inspired by classical and modern painting, he navigates between contemporary works and street art. His creations incorporate iconic elements of classical and pop culture. His works are characterized by the reinterpretation of major painters, warm colors, expressive and enchanting compositions.

GEIDA explores different forms of universes and productions. Some of his works are reproduced in small editions on canvas panels, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience.

The artist’s style reflects a blend of classical art and new techniques. In order to captivate attention, provoke reflection and elevate interiors
