Original Art – Trilogy of Three Fuji Polaroids

This unique original consists of three Fuji Polaroids, hand-painted with acrylic paints. Through the interplay of photography and painting, entirely new worlds of imagery arise, turning each Polaroid into a distinctive work of art. Together the three works form a harmonious trilogy – a one-of-a-kind piece that exists only once.

Marc Kronig is a photographer and photographic artist from Zermatt. For more than 40 years he has worked with photography and continually develops new artistic modes of expression. In this body of work, he combines the immediate aesthetics of the Polaroid with the free gesture of acrylic painting, thereby creating unique originals at the interface between photography and painting.
