AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Artwork created in 2026 by artist Emma Beatrice Pierotti, born 1990 in Italy, known as MEMÉ.
Emerging self-taught artist, she has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions with participation certificates and awards such as Artist of the Year and featured in art catalogs such as Effetto Arte for the years 2024 and 2025, e.g., Brussels, London, Miami, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Venice, Rome, with frequent collaboration with Istanbul’s Ardahan University
GÜZEL SANATLAR FAKÜLTESİ
FACULTY OF FINE ARTS.

This acrylic painting on canvas uses mixed media, measuring 173 x 220 cm.
In this painting, with primitive characters, between geometry and freedom of movement, the message conveyed is that too often we do not realize we are carrying a weight that should be let go, just like the bull, incredulous to be free but stubbornly still bearing a saddle, ready to obey the first rider.
Every being is born free, like the shapes of the bull’s body, like the gnats that seek to awaken consciousness, like the non-uniform blue that recalls diversity.
And then there are geometric shapes, heavy, sharp, full, especially the legs, anchored to nothing, rigid and vigilant.
The mosquito is a constant figure in my works.

Unique of its kind, in excellent condition, hand-signed bottom right and on the back with ink; the frame is not present. Shipping would be with canvas rolled in a tube suitable for shipping.
The packaging is made from reclaimed materials to counter pollution and encourage the recycling of existing materials, which sometimes becomes a creative and pleasant process, without compromising the suitability of the packaging.

The work is cataloged and entered in the International Archive of Modern Art; authenticity and archival certificates will be delivered together with the work in paper format. The certificate of ownership is available on request in PDF format.

*Photos of the works may slightly vary in color depending on the device used to view the painting. In images focusing on detail, the color is the most faithful."}
