Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life runs on the craftsmanship craft. For forty years he worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chroming.
The turning point of his life arrives with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to release the artistic urgency he had always kept hidden. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From craftsman to a signature of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society reflects itself: pop, bright, ironic and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly in the track of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the comparison to Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of the entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean without detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
