Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is an Marche-born artist whose life roots itself in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, varnishing and chroming. The turning point of his life arrives with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to release the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been “only” a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his know-how as an artisan into a language of contemporary art recognized, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these, notable are: participation in the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to signing figure of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master artisan who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly in the wake of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. Any small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean with a soft cloth only, without detergents.
