Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and chrome finishing.

The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been merely a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern pop sculptures, vibrant and ironical. Today Sagrasse has transformed his craft know-how into a recognized contemporary art language, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent.
