Macallan Folio 7 The Archival Series - 700ml

This Macallan Folio 7 Single Malt is a much sought after Limited Edition and a special collectors bottle released in 2023 as part of the highly coveted Archival Series by Macallan Distillery. It celebrates the rich history of the brands advertising campaigns.

This Folio 7 comes in a beautiful booked shaped tin, resembling a folio, with a detailed illustration of the vintage advert it was inspired by. Included is a booklet that dives into the history of the advertisement campaign offering collectors a nostalgic look into Macallan's heritage.

The Folio 7 remembers a campaign focusing on the tale of 'The Boffins Baffled'. The Macallan Directors of the time invited a party of scientists to unravel the story as to why The Macallan was so special, but they were left positively baffled. No scientific rationale could account for the magic which took place inside of the casks, so the Boffins insisted on taking extra whisky back to the laboratory, all in the name of ‘research’.

Like all the Macallan Archival Series releases the Folio 7 is an exceptional non age statement Single Malt, which was crafted using a combination of Sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez in Spain.
