Andre Lichtenberg - Waves (Silver Study) XL
A stunning large artwork constructed from several detail photographs. A process that gives the final print a hyper real (contact print) quality while exploring an aesthetic between a photograph and a painting or drawing - the real versus the imagined. Print number 9 from a small edition of 20.
Museum quality Chromogenic print. Provenance from the artist studio. The print is signed & titled on verso and has an embossed artist stamp on recto. The lot also includes a signed & dated Certificate of Authenticity. Due to the large size, the artwork will be shipped rolled in a robust art tube (tracked & insured) carefully protected in acid free materials.
André Lichtenberg has been the recipient of numerous international awards, his work has been exhibited in important art fairs, museums and private galleries worldwide. Selected exhibitions include: the Barbican Centre London in 1998, Centre Pompidou/IRCAM, Paris in 2015/16 and Fabrica, Brighton in 2018. His artworks are represented in numerous international art collections including the NHS Trust collection in UK and the prestigious Joseph Cohen Family Collection in NY.
Shipping to France, Spain and Italy already includes import taxes as the studio is now able to pay for those in advance here in the UK.
