Description from the seller

Balloon flight. - With the highest imperial authorization, M. Berra will carry out his grand aerostatic ascent or air travel. Munich, September 4, 1831. A single-sheet print with typographic text. Sheet size: 44 x 25.5 cm.
The ascent took place in Tivoli (a small district in the northern English Garden); accompanied by an orchestra, Berra had the balloon, whose gondola is modeled after a ship, rise to approximately 3,000 feet in height, after which he let it go up and down several times in order to finally "ascend so high that one can hardly reach the balloon with the naked eye."
