According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’ market value in 2021 ranges roughly from €600 to €2,000 for his paintings and limited edition prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
Spontaneous and voracious creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon. He explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections in the style of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, who treads the boundaries between abstract gesture and figurative representation. Yet his signature remains this physical painting, this material worked by the body, a testament to the artist’s intimate monologue.
