Frequency VANDYKE BROWN is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held notes, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency VANDYKE BROWN
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various trowels. The pigments form elevations and overlays with a calm, pulsating tension.
Only materials of the highest quality are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide support frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The pictures were taken under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing in direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the works feel alive.
