This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary means to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between the woman and her environment. Her works address with subtlety and strong visual impact topics such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres.
With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, the masterful use of color and emotionally balanced composition position her work as a contemporary artistic proposal of high aesthetic value.

This magnificent contemporary piece engages in a deep dialogue between classical sculpture and the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, the art of honoring fractures. The winged figure, of delicacy and melancholy reminiscent of the myth of Icarus, displays a torso of polished porcelain pierced by intricate gold cracks that emulate the traditional urushi lacquer technique. Far from concealing vulnerability, these golden scars enhance the body of the character, organically connecting with the glow of its majestic ebony and gold wings. It is a work of great narrative power that transforms human fragility into a manifestation of resilience, elegance and timeless divinity, ideal to become the centerpiece of any avant-garde art collection.
