Painted with acrylic paints and acrylic ink on sturdy watercolor paper, protected several times with varnish.
The back bears my artist’s stamp, is dated and signed again.

I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today, my works mostly come to life on paper. This more compact and calmer working method suits not only my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It fits well with my everyday life and gives me space to focus entirely on the subject.

My works often emerge in small series and in changing styles – for me, art thrives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga, and since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality – beings that carry a small story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor, and heart. Perhaps one of them will speak to you.
