Pair of Exclusive Tiffany-style Table Lamps – Expo Trading Holland – Iridescent Glass & Amber Glass Jewelry (2)
Description
A stunning and perfectly matched pair of Tiffany-style table lamps from the renowned Dutch manufacturer Expo Trading Holland B.V. (Gorinchem). This model (Item no. 05-3114) combines classic elegance with high-quality finish and provides warm, atmospheric lighting.
An identical pair like this is rarely offered and is especially popular for a perfectly symmetrical interior, for example on a sideboard, nightstands, a sidetable, or on both sides of a window.
The lampshades are made using the traditional copper foil method, with each individual glass piece hand-wrapped and soldered. The opal white and creamy glass has a beautiful iridescent pearlescent gloss that, depending on the light, shows subtle tones of blue, pink, and violet. This makes the lamps not only atmospheric when lit but also a decorative focal point during the day.
Around the shades are richly adorned with amber glass cabochons, which, when lit, create a warm, almost gemstone-like shimmer and further emphasize the Tiffany character.
The heavy metal base features an elegant bronze patina with attractive Art Deco influences. The underside is equipped with protective felt.
