Cess - H for Haring — The Artphabet

This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures in contemporary art and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter H becomes a tribute to Keith Haring, reinterpreting his iconic visual language based on simplified figures, energetic lines, and highly graphic compositions. The typography turns into a living scene where two characters from Haring's universe interact, creating a direct, dynamic narrative rich in symbolism.

The figures, built with soft, volumetric forms, maintain the naïve and accessible essence of the artist, but translated into a contemporary three-dimensional context. The connection between the two characters, united by a central gesture, reinforces recurring concepts in Haring's work such as human relation, shared energy, and universal communication.

The work has been created through a completely digital 3D process (CGI), modeled in an artisanal way with special attention to surfaces, lighting, and the expressiveness of the forms, achieving a balance between graphic simplicity and sculptural volume.
