In this work, I wanted to capture that subtle moment when the eyes can no longer hide the truth. It is about love, not yet spoken, but already visible. The chiaroscuro intensifies this intimate moment, leaving most of the scene unspoken and allowing the light, the eyes and the expression to tell the story.
The imprimatura technique has been developed through multiple transparent layers, ensuring durability and resistance over time. The canvas is mounted on a high-quality wooden stretcher.

About the artist:
Iacob Mircea holds both a BA and an MA in Painting, and is currently in the final year of his PhD in Painting, all completed with merit scholarships. His artistic path reflects a wide professional range, from having his studio at the Palace of Culture in Ploiești to engaging in international projects in New York, including a partnership with Ralph Lauren.
He has presented numerous solo exhibitions in Romania and abroad, participating both individually and as part of the academic group of the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
