Junge Spanierin is an original oil painting by Albert van den Pol (1912/13–1981) from the 1950s–1960 period, created in the Netherlands and sold with a frame.
Description from the seller
Albert van den Pol (1912/13-1981)
was a Dutch painter and worked mainly in Amsterdam, Morocco and Spain.
After his studies at the Art School, he received further training from various painters. He specialized in creating portraits. Today his name is known as a portrait painter and he was very sought-after in his time. To relax from portrait painting, he enjoyed painting pretty women surrounded by flowers on terraces, marketplaces, etc. For over five years he lived and worked in the “Kasbah” in Morocco and afterwards in Spain. He then returned to Holland.
