Description from the seller
A young man in a red pair of shorts stands at the edge of a white rock, toes over the void, gazing at the turquoise water below. He is at the far edge of the frame, at the far edge of his decision. The sky is a nocturnal blue, almost violently so. A single white cloud, massive, occupies the right side of the composition like a silent witness.
Le Yack captures the moment just before — the suspended instant between decision and action. The microsecond when everything is still possible, when the leap has not yet occurred and fear and desire coexist. The diagonal composition of the rock, the saturated color of the sky, the smallness of the body against the immensity of the sea: all contribute to turning this banal moment into something heroic.
Le Yack, emerging French pop and street artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a artistic director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45.
