The Third Class is specifically dedicated to etiology, i.e., the causes of diseases, and to symptomatology, the definition of the symptoms of diseases. Notably to be observed are the treatises on palpitations, on the various kinds of fevers, on the comatose state, and on Hippocratic theories. Binding in antique-style cardboard. Title in a gold panel on the spine. Splendid illustrated frontispiece with eight fine vignettes depicting medical scenes and the title in the center.
