Luca Cartoonist - My pink car

Luca Cartoonist, registered name Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney foremost), he graduated in advertising graphics at the Istituto d'arte of Ascoli Piceno and then completed his artistic studies by earning a degree in comics and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different (though still artistic) career path, up to 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art.
He primarily represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting and placing them within current situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today.
He mainly uses acrylic paints, spray cans, and mixed printing and collage techniques on canvas.
Since 2021 he has collaborated with several Italian art galleries, participating with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and various group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…).

The entire painting was made by hand with acrylic paint and spray on canvas, with a hand-painted Baroque frame included.
