Luca Cartoonist - Birra?

Luca Cartoonist, legally Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the pop art world. Always passionate about comics (Disney foremost), he earned a diploma in advertising graphics at the Istituto d'arte di Ascoli Piceno and then completed his artistic studies with a degree in comics and illustration from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different (yet still artistic) career path, until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to enter the world of pop art full-time. He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them within current situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today. He primarily uses acrylic paints, spray cans, and mixed printing and collage techniques on canvas. Since 2021 collaborations with several Italian art galleries, he has participated with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…​).
