Luca Cartoonist - Go ahead...and jump!

Luca Cartoonist, registered name Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney foremost), he graduates in advertising graphics at the Art Institute of Ascoli Piceno and then completes his artistic studies by earning a degree in comics and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different (yet always artistic) career path, until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art.
He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them within current situations, often using pop icons of yesterday and today.
He mainly uses acrylic paints, spray cans, and mixed printing and collage techniques on canvas.
Collaborations from 2021 with several Italian art galleries, he participated with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some collective exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…)
