My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continues to inspire me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred mode of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I deal mainly with emotions, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that often express themselves only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is an intuitive process for me, in which authenticity and depth are at the center. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 100 cm you need a stretcher frame of size 150 x 90 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artist or gallery.
This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple layers of white ground on a gallery canvas.
A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
