Pair of elegant vintage Limoges porcelain centerpieces (France), dating to the second half of the 20th century (1950s–1970s).
Style: Inspired by the splendor of antique Rococo and Louis XV, with sinuous shapes and classical decorations.
Features: The lot consists of a pastel mint-green rectangular tray and a deep ruby red oval bowl. Both pieces feature white reserves decorated with refined bouquets of multicolored flowers and detailed gold filigree.
Finishes and Materials: Both elements are enhanced by substantial and robust perimeter frames in gilded bronze (or brass). The metal structures are richly worked in relief, equipped with large scroll-shaped side handles finely engraved and decorative footings.
