Pair of 19th-century portrait miniatures (19th-century male portrait dated and signed Pasquale Fragoni - Genoa 1856) depicting a gentleman and a lady of the Biedermeier era. Both paintings are oval with a gilded edge and are set in ebony-veneered frames, one of which is embellished with delicate mother-of-pearl inlays.
Painting dimensions: 7x6 cm; 3x2.5 cm
Frame dimensions: 12x11 cm; 8x7 cm
Generally good condition, minor defects as shown in the photo.
The painting has not been restored or retouched at any point.
The painting will be shipped without glass (if present) for safety reasons, but you may request to keep it; in that case the seller does not assume responsibility for any damage caused by possible breakage during transport.
