Meistersinger Gran Matik, a 52 mm automatic men's watch with ETA 2824-2 movement, stainless steel case, black dial, leather strap, boxed with original papers, no warranty, in very good condition with light wear.
Description from the seller
Meistersinger brings watches to market with a single hand. This hand indicates both hours and minutes thanks to the way the dial is subdivided into 144 markings. Each marking represents a five-minute interval. This model is a 52 mm automatic watch with an ETA 2824-2 movement that offers a power reserve of 48 hours at a frequency of 28,800 A/h. It features sapphire crystal in a polished stainless steel case and a leather strap with a stainless steel buckle. Thanks to the 24 mm strap width, this watch is very suitable for strap changes; it has a screw-down crown and is water resistant to 100 m.
The crescent-shaped symbol is not only the brand logo, but also a musical notation called ‘fermata’ and placed above a note to indicate that the note should be held longer than the normal duration indicated by the note value. How much longer the note is held is up to the musician or conductor, but twice as long is typical. This aligns with Meistersinger’s design philosophy, which emphasizes appreciating slow rhythms.
The watch is in good condition and has been worn; in the future a new strap will be needed. There are light scratches on the back, but the crystal is completely undamaged. This Meistersinger Gran Matik is a watch you rarely come across and it comes complete with the original box and booklet, and it has always been handled with care. Truly a watch for the collector of a large 52 mm timepiece, the watch weighs 150 grams and, as is well known with Meistersinger, it is a One-Hander and is the largest Meistersinger that exists.
