Karim Rashid is a Canadian-American designer of Egyptian origin, born in Cairo on September 18, 1960. He was raised in England and Canada.
He set out for New York in 1993 and opened his own studio. Enthusiastic about bold colors, clean forms, and innovative materials, many objects and places have passed through his hands.
He reinvents everyday tools, restaurants, hotels, shops, and even a Naples metro station!
Famous brands (Kenzo, Prada,...) trust him to imagine the packaging of their products.
Karim Rashid quickly established himself as one of the designers of the last 50 years.

Chess, or the chess game, is a board game played by two players on opposite sides of a board called the “chessboard” made up of sixty-four squares, 32 light and 32 dark named white squares and black squares (here orange and green).
The players take turns moving one of their sixteen pieces, light for the White side, dark for the Black.
Each player starts with a king, a queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns.
The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent, a situation in which a player’s king is in check with no possibility of escape.
