A highly decorative set of three Excalibur Goblets, produced by The Franklin Mint and presented by The International Arthurian Society in 1989.

The goblets are inspired by the legendary world of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, with richly detailed relief decoration depicting characters, scenes, weapons and Celtic-style ornamentation from the Arthurian legends.

Lancelot
Merlin
Morgan le Fay

Each goblet is individually identified and marked on the underside:

“Excalibur Goblets – Presented by The International Arthurian Society – Fine Pewter – 1989 The Franklin Mint.”

The goblets are made of fine pewter and have an impressive heavy construction with highly detailed raised relief decoration. The interiors have a contrasting smooth metallic finish.

Approximate diameter of the cup: 9 cm.

Individual weights are approximately:

587 g – 643 g – 722 g

Combined weight approximately 1.95 kg.

The three goblets are in good vintage condition considering their age, with normal minor signs of age, handling and storage. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the condition and details of the pieces.
