"Luna Luna" was a project organized by Andre Heller for "A Fair with Modern Art" that took place in 1987 in Hamburg. There were about 30 artists participating in this project, all of whom created objects for the fair, including Keith Haring. His idea was for a Merry-Go-Round for which he made a few posters and the Pop-Up sculpture. This was the only object he produced during his career—and it was undoubtedly in memory of his idol, Andy Warhol, who twenty years earlier had created his famous "Index Book". The edition of the Pop-Up 3D was 2000 copies. Most of these were destroyed immediately after the fair due to an accident. The supplier at the time bought all remaining copies. The total number of still available copies would be about 100 to 200 pieces.
In perfect condition and has never been opened or folded!!!
Carefully packed and shipped.
