Original Keith Haring coloring book 1985.
A very rare coloring book from the 1980s, illustrated by Keith Haring and previously sold at the Pop Shop NY in the mid-1980s.
During his life Keith Haring published three coloring books, first in 1982.
All three were original designs and may thus be regarded as artists' books.
The offered copy (without a title) was first published in 1985 and offered in small quantities through the Pop Shop. When Keith Haring had a major exhibition a year later at the Municipal Museum in Amsterdam, it was decided to issue a second printing, published by Harmonie, Amsterdam.

Medium: Offset printed, bound artist's book (coloring book) 10 double-sided pages with a total of 20 illustrations - drawings.
Dimensions: 12 x 12 inches - 30.5 x 30.5 cm.
Edition: +-300 copies FIRST PRINT IN ITS OWN CUSTODY and sold through the Pop Shop and thus not the later Dutch edition!!
This has been well preserved for years, not colored in and still in very good condition, see photos.
