Description from the seller
Kiri Aguilera (1982) is a Cuban-born artist, currently based in Spain, whose work is distinguished by a sophisticated visual language where contemporary abstraction, poetic figuration, and gestural expressiveness converge.
Trained in professional art schools, her trajectory reveals a solid academic foundation manifested in mastery of drawing, composition, and the spatial construction of the canvas. On this technical structure, the artist has developed a distinctive, deeply recognizable style in which the line plays a leading role as a element of rhythm, tension, and visual narrative.
Her acrylic-on-canvas production, carried out entirely by hand, stands out for its vibrant chromatic richness and the presence of carefully balanced painterly layers. Color, far from being merely ornamental, acts as an emotional vehicle that transforms each work into a sensory, high-impact experience.
Within her thematic universe, female figures, floral compositions, and the stylized representation of animals stand out, elements that the artist reinterprets through a language that oscillates between abstract synthesis and suggested figuration.
Her large-format works—usually over 100 cm—are conceived for spaces with strong aesthetic presence, creating a direct relationship with interior architecture and becoming genuine focal points within the environment.
The delicacy of the stroke, the elegance of the lines, and the intensity of the color contribute to each piece a contemporary and highly decorative visual identity, without losing conceptual depth or artistic value.
Kiri Aguilera’s work is especially appealing to collectors and lovers of contemporary art who seek original pieces with strong visual presence, impeccable technique, and a distinctive aesthetic.
Each canvas conveys a refined sensitivity, where gestural energy coexists with compositional harmony, generating works of great sophistication, ideal for private collections as well as for curatorial spaces and high-end interior design projects.

The work presents a reinterpretation of stained-glass aesthetics of the classic story of "The Little Prince," in which the blond-haired protagonist and his golden scarf contemplate the cosmos from his small facet-cut planet in vibrant blues, yellows, and oranges. Around him, the iconic elements of the tale are harmoniously integrated: the rose sheltered beneath its crystal dome on the left, the faithful fox sitting by its side, the geometric silhouette of a sheep grazing below, and a starry sky full of planets and constellations, all structured by firm lines and color polygons that evoke a luminous mosaic.
