Description from the seller

Hubert Duprilot was born in Tours (France) in 1975.
"Portrait" 2026, acrylic on canvas (30x30cm) "signed at the bottom right"

Neo-expressionist artist, Hubert Duprilot has been painting and exhibiting for more than thirty years in France and abroad.

Through these human figures, the artist explores the tensions of our time while seeking to reveal a spark of hope in a universe that can be dark and uncertain. His work questions our condition, our fears, but also our ability to create connection and to reinvent ourselves.

For several years now, believing that traditional exhibitions require a great deal of time and energy to reach an audience that is often limited and insider, Hubert Duprilot has chosen to invest in urban space. Turning to street art, he offers a new freedom to his characters, making them leave the studio to be placed at the heart of the city.

On the walls, these silent presences meet a broader, more diverse audience, in a direct and spontaneous relationship. Public space thus becomes an open-air gallery where art enters daily life, prompting questions, emotions and encounters.
