A pair of decorative grape clusters in natural stone and metal from Italy, dating to the 1960s–1970s, in good condition with sculptural hand‑assembled elements.
Description from the seller
Pair of decorative clusters of grapes made from natural hard stones and metal – Italy, 1960s/1970s
Description
Suggestive pair of ornamental grape clusters realized with elements in natural smooth hard stone mounted on a metal frame with stylized leaves.
The lot includes two specimens: one characterized by amber, honey and beige tones with elegant natural veining, the other in deep black with light inclusions and streaks that enhance its decorative charm. Each grape berry has been carefully worked and hand-assembled, giving the pieces a sculptural look and a strong aesthetic impact.
These objects, particularly appreciated in Italian mid-20th century decor, were often used as decorative elements on tables, dressers or display cabinets and still represent a classic of vintage design today.
A refined and versatile decorative Lot, ideal for collectors of natural stone objects or to enrich spaces in Mid-Century, Hollywood Regency or eclectic styles.
