Very good 6 volume set. Burgundy boards with gilt decorated spines. No publication date given, approx. 1920. Special edition prepared for subscribers only, not available at bookshops. Birds, flowers, animals, clouds, etc, etc, all covered. Approx. 6 coloured and hundreds of black & white pictures and tipped-in colour illustrations. Plus foldout dissection anatomical model in each volume.
Volume 1: 8 plates, pages 1-184. The model is loose.
Volume 2: 6 plates, pages 185-372.
Volume 3: 7 plates, pages 373-564
Volume 4: 7 plates, pages 565-752.
Volume 5: 6 plates, pages 753-944
Volume 6: 6 plates, pages 945-1128.
Wear to the boards and spine ends.
Some parts of the models are loose but complete.
Corners and edges slightly bumped.
