Description from the seller

Up for auction today is an O. Oehler E♭ (Es) Clarinet that is a highly collectible German clarinet made by the renowned German clarinet maker, Oskar Oehler (1858–1936). Oscar Oehler is the godfather of the modern Oehler system, which remains the standard clarinet system used in many German and Austrian orchestras today. Oehler established his workshop in Berlin in 1887 and refined the earlier German clarinet designs by adding complex keywork and tone-hole innovations that improved intonation, response, and tonal consistency. His instruments are highly regarded by collectors and professional musicians. This is a rare piece of history, highly sought after by collectors and vintage instrument specialists!

Condition: The clarinet is in good condition considering its age and shows clear signs of previous use. The instrument will need a full overhaul to be in pristine playing condition including a repair for a hair-line crack as pictured. As this instrument is historically interesting, I have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner. This clarinet will for sure make a great addition for a professional and/or collector, so don't miss out!!!

Included: As-is as pictured with no case.

Shipment: The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped by Deutsche Post (DHL) with tracking.

This item is being sold as-is as pictured, so please take a look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
