Capodimonte - Figurine - Porcelain

Splendid and refined pair of polychrome porcelain figurines, depicting a classic pastoral courtship gallant scene in eighteenth-century attire. The two figures stand out for their excellent workmanship, with finely hand-modeled details and a lively color palette on display. Both characters hold hats and baskets rich with small buds and flowers applied in relief. The bases rest on elegant rococo scroll pedestals, enhanced by splendid finishes and trims in brilliant 24-carat gold. Mark: Blue letter "N" crowned with a five-point crown beneath the base (Capodimonte Style). Technical markings: Handwritten serial numbers on the base and model number "56" roughly incised in the porcelain paste. Era: Late 19th century / early 20th century. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The porcelain pieces are intact, colors vibrant, and the gold parts retain their original luster. No restorations reported. Given the era and the delicacy of the craftsmanship, microscopic and imperceptible chipping may be present on the relief petals of the flowers, entirely normal and not compromising the aesthetics (see detailed photos).
