ARTIST’S PRESENTATION OF THE WORK

The original painting "The Lights of the Shore" is acrylic brushwork on stretched cotton canvas. The scene depicts a twilight atmosphere along the coast: two silhouettes side by side on the shore, observing the golden and sparkling reflections of a coastal town that lights up at nightfall. Above the houses clinging to the cliff, the majestic outline of a bell tower cuts a warm and golden sky.

The brushstrokes are laid with generosity in the form of small, almost mosaic-like color cells, creating a vibrant rhythm and a textured relief. The luminous reflections on the water and shore are expressed through an intense dynamic between deep blues (ul-tramarine, cobalt) and warm tones (gold, ochre, orange).
