A voracious and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon. He explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the style of Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections in the style of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, wandering the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. Yet his signature remains this physical painting, this material worked with the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue. An artist represented at the gallery Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. Listed by Artprice, Drouot, and Akoun since 2005. Maeght Atelier in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas, and Lyon (Paul Bocuse Abbey) gala evening 2023.
