My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio—a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This passion has never left me— it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On trips and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said—emotions, moods, and the spaces in between, which are often only expressible through color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself—a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 100 cm you need a stretched canvas of 150 x 90 cm and a depth of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, which has been signed and dated on the back by the artist.
High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on a repeatedly white-primed gallery canvas.
