Description from the seller
The composition presents a woman in a golden, flowing dress, wrapped in a warm stream of light entering through the open doors at the top of mysterious stairs. Delicate butterflies float around her, she holds a melting clock in her hands—a motif symbolizing the passage of time and captured moments—and above her head a crescent moon with a human-shaped face hovers. The work enchants with a masterful interplay of light and shadow, soft brushstrokes, and a contrast between the deep navy background and the radiant, golden glow.
