Through layered oil and acrylic paint, loosely defined living forms emerge from an atmospheric surface. The work reflects the artist's ongoing interest in memory, perception and the ambiguity of presence. The work belongs to a body of paintings investigating imagined beings and psychological landscapes.
Condition:
Excellent overall condition. Minor irregularities and visible brushwork are intentional and inherent to the artist's process.
Shipping:

Artist background:
Yavor Kostadinov (b. 1993, Plovdiv, Bulgaria) is a visual artist working primarily in painting and drawing. He holds BA (2016) and MA (2018) degrees in Painting from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, and studied at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan, in 2015. He was nominated for the BAZA Award for Contemporary Art (2020, 2022) and was artist-in-residence at Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, in 2021. His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Bulgaria and internationally.
