Description from the seller

Franck Noto aka Zest - Ali (2021)
Screenprint on Arches vellum 240 g/m²
Color passages: 3, of which 2 are gradient
Signed and numbered 05/50
Listed artist, sold in galleries

Franck Noto, better known by the pseudonym Zest, is a French artist born in Montpellier in 1980. Coming from a family sensitive to painting, he discovers graffiti art and tags in 1995, when he was not yet fifteen, and quickly gets hooked. Now an abstract painter, his style remains very urban.
Zest's work synthesizes his diverse influences. It is structured by key recurring elements throughout his oeuvre, which are bright and fluorescent colors, and the female form. The sensually curved bodies contrast with the cubism of shapes and letters and vanish into a pictorial labyrinth, where suggestion triumphs over representation.
Zest revisits the classic codes of graffiti, freeing himself from conventions and pre-established rules. He blends styles and techniques, using both a brush and spray can, marker, and roller.
With his TDM team, he is behind colorful murals in the major European capitals, as well as in New York and Nouméa.
