Description
A rare matching set of two original Beaumont cash and document boxes dating from circa 1930–1940. These steel boxes are both practical storage pieces and attractive decorative collectibles.
The set consists of one silver-grey Beaumont with a rich burgundy-red interior and one yellow Beaumont with a dark green interior. Both retain their original carrying handles and both locks function properly.
The silver-grey Beaumont is supplied with 2 original keys, while the yellow Beaumont is supplied with 1 original key.
The natural wear, scratches and signs of age are consistent with decades of use and contribute to their vintage character.
Dimensions (each box):
