painting "The Birth of Venus" which is a famous tempera on canvas painting by Sandro Botticelli, datable around 1485 and kept in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. The work depicts the goddess Venus emerging nude from the sea on a shell, pushed by the Zephyrus and Aura winds toward the shore, where a maid offers her a cloak. H 31 cm.
